Convert regular video formats like AVI, MPEG, MOV, DivX, FLV, and others into mobile devices supported formats such as: 3GP, 3G2 or MP4.

Ultra Mobile 3GP Video Converter is mainly intended to help you watch movies on portable devices supporting 3GP format. Although it is presented as a different converter, it is practically a clone of other similar tools, as the only difference is that it comes with 3GP set as its default output format. In practical terms, the advantage is that, if you are familiar with other converters, you can actually start using it right away.

The tool supports processing files in batches. In this regard, the easiest way is to add a complete folder. However, you cannot import files from other sources, such as DVD discs, Internet downloads, cameras and screen captures. Luckily, it is compatible with practically every media format. It is a pity that this tool allows only a few of the editing operations that are supported by other modern converters. Thus, you can merely extract a segment from a video or split it in chunks of equal size or duration.

As to output formats, the application supports MP4, AVI and WMV. Besides, you can strip audio from video. I am glad that it is very easy to choose an output profile that is compatible with your device. However, there is no way you can use individual conversion parameters for each of the files on the list.

All in all, Ultra Mobile 3GP Video Converter can do its job with excellent quality. Nevertheless, it is definitely not the best option out there since there are many other video converters with far more features and probably a better prize.
